Sectoral collective bargaining agreement

Freight transport by road: new collective agreement signed!

Following the signing of an agreement in principle in November, on December 12th the OGBL signed the definitive text of the sectoral collective bargaining agreement for Transport & Logistics with the employers’ organisation Groupement Transport. This collective agreement applies to all Luxembourg-based companies active in the sectors of transport of goods by motorised vehicles, moving services, express delivery/express mail, warehousing, chartering or logistics.

The new collective agreement includes the following improvements for workers in the sector:

  • An average increase of 2.5% in all pay scales.
  • The introduction of a monthly bonus of 50 euros for ADR drivers (transport of dangerous goods).
  • An increase in expenses, accommodation allowances and mileage allowances.
  • The inclusion of training for professional drivers (“Code 95”) in working hours.

The new collective agreement will come into force on January 1st 2025 and expire on December 31st 2026.
