Giacomo Lariccia & Trinidad

Italian songs
13:30 – 14:15
Parvis

‘Giacomo Lariccia & Trinidad is raw folk with low fidelity. A scent of worn velvet from Central Europe, with a bold aftertaste of Romagna and the salty flavour of the Mediterranean.
Atmospheres that evoke fields of cotton yet to be harvested and the gnarled wood of olive trees where vines entwine.
Songs with an Italian accent tinged with French that tell of roads, paths and great ideals, immersed in a thick mist that blurs the view.
Giacomo Lariccia’s new album, produced by Don Antonio (Antonio Gramentieri), will be released in autumn 2025 and will feature the exceptional participation of Noa and Mira Awad, who recently took to the stage at the Sanremo Festival to deliver a message of coexistence and peace.’ Patrick Duval, Le Rocher de Palmer, Bordeaux, France

Musicians : Giacomo Lariccia, Antonio Gramentieri, Fabio Mazzini, Enrico Mao Bocchini, Michel Seba

Expositions

Lucien Wercollier

Permanent Exposition
10:00 – 18:00
Déambulatoire Lucien Wercollier

“Stone, bronze, marble, alabaster, glass, the work of Lucien Wercollier is embedded in these various materials that he will discover in each turn and will never leave. A work to be (re)discovered at the Abbey of Neumünster where the private collection of the Wercollier family is reinstalled in the “Déambulastoire” of the Abbey, in a scenography specially designed for the place. Although Wercollier‘s sculptures are present in numerous collections and public museums in Luxembourg and abroad (Musée d‘Art Moderne in Paris, Israel Museum in Jerusalem, Olympic Museum in Lausanne, Olympic Sculptures Parc in Seoul, Palais de l‘Europe in Strasbourg…), this permanent exhibition is the only one that documents the life and work of one of the great artists of the 20th century.

Born in 1908, Lucien Wercollier died in 2002, at the age of 94. Between these two dates, the years of studies in Brussels and Paris, the discovery of Maillol, Brancusi and Arp, but also the years of war, the arrest and the incarceration in the Grund prison then the deportation in Germany and in Silesia, will make of a talented sculptor, an exceptional artist, „in search of the most total agreement between lines, structures, forms and signification, an increasingly deep and perfect agreement“ (G. Wagner).”

Chapelle

Graines

Exposition
10:00 – 18:00
Salles voûtées

FABACEAE, Medicago arborea L., luzerne en arbre. Collection MNHN. 2018

The ‘Graines’ exhibition explores the challenges of diversity and questions our relationship with origins. The fascinating formal beauty of seeds, revealed by Thierry Ardouin’s photographs, will be presented in an exhibition designed by Atelier EXB in collaboration with neimënster.

The seed is a marvel of appearance, a perfection of form and color. It possesses a morphology that is both necessary and bizarre, capable of evoking astonishment, questions, or contemplation. Chosen, illuminated, and framed with the utmost care, the seeds photographed by Thierry Ardouin disturb our subjectivity as viewers: they become symbols that, far from being generic images, question our relationship with origin. This exhibition is accompanied by works by Victor Guérin, Hélène and José Eurico Ebel, and Justine Blau.

Repenser l'avenir - Citizen Action Space

Participative exhibition
13:00 – 18:00
Cloître

Step into the Citizen Action Space shaped by the members of the Luxembourgish network of the Anna Lindh Foundation and participate in one of the 3 proposed actions:

Interactive Report on International Protection
What feelings go through us when filling out an application for international protection? The network invites you to fill out your own report to better understand what an asylum application represents and to learn more about the rights of refugees.

Innovation Council
A co-design workshop invites participants to draft avant-garde guidelines for the political party or citizen action group of the future. Participants can bring innovative ideas to address global challenges and shape a better future.

Photo-Dialogues
Engage in an intergenerational and intercultural photographic conversation around the themes of youth participation, social change, intercultural dialogue, peacebuilding and sustainability.

Interculturality Testimonies – Shared Stories
What is your most significant experience of intercultural dialogue?
Participants are invited to share their testimonies in the form of videos or audio recordings. These stories will then be broadcast at the ALF Forum in Tirana, where new voices will enrich the collection. This initiative aims to create a living mosaic of intercultural experiences, highlighting inspiring stories of encounters, understanding and transformation.
