The Pensioners’ Department consists of the regional centers Esch-Rumelange, Dudelange-Est, Differdange, Rodange, Centre, Nord and the three local sections Esch, Differdange and Rodange. As long as the expectations and justified demands of the elderly are not met, as long as material aid is not integrated into the health cover or dependency insurance, as long as the representation of the interests of the elderly is not guaranteed, the existence of the Pensioners’ Department will be justified. Although many demands have already been met, much remains to be done and to be secured. Many interest groups are disturbed by our social achievements and would prefer to reduce our social system to a minimal structure. For these reasons, the Pensioners’ Department will continue its constructive and innovative action in favor of all OGBL members.
