The OGBL, the majority union in the company, the LCGB and the staff delegation have been informed by press reports on April 6, 2023 of a possible reduction of the workforce at John Zink in Dudelange.
This announcement of job cuts is all the more surprising as the day before, on 5 April, during a meeting with the staff delegation, the management of John Zink confirmed several times that jobs in Luxembourg would not be affected for the moment by the plans of the Koch group.
As neither the unions nor the staff delegation have any further information, an emergency meeting with the management of John Zink was immediately requested.
